Product Information

The steel plate is a flat-like steel cast with molten steel and pressed after cooling.

It is flat, rectangular and can be rolled directly or cut from a wide steel strip.

The steel plate is divided by thickness, thin steel plate 4 mm (the thinest 0.2 mm), medium thick steel plate 4~60 mm, extra thick steel plate 60~115 mm.

The steel plate is divided into hot rolling and cold rolling according to rolling.

The width of the sheet is 500~1500 mm; The width of the thickness is 600~3000 mm. The sheet is divided into ordinary steel, high-quality steel, alloy steel, spring steel, stainless steel, tool steel, heat-resistant steel, bearing steel, silicon steel and industrial pure iron sheet, etc.
According to professional use, there are oil drum board, enamel board, bulletproof board, etc.; According to the surface coating, there are galvanized sheet, tin-plated sheet, lead-plated sheet, plastic composite steel plate and so on.

Product Details
The steel grade of thick steel plate is roughly the same as that of thin steel plate. In all aspects of the product, in addition to bridge steel plate, boiler steel plate, automobile manufacturing steel plate, pressure vessel steel plate and multi-layer high-pressure vessel steel plate and other varieties are pure thick plates, some varieties of steel plates such as automobile girder steel plate (thick 2.5~10 mm), pattern steel plate (thick 2.5~8 mm), stainless steel plate, heat-resistant steel plate and other varieties are crossed with thin plates.

1. Mainly used in the manufacture of Bridges, ships, vehicles, boilers, high-pressure vessels, oil and gas pipelines, large steel structures, etc.

2. Performance requirements

(1) High strength: Generally its yield strength is above 300MPa

(2) High toughness: the required elongation is 15% ~ 20%, and the impact toughness at room temperature is greater than 600kJ/m ~ 800kJ/m. For large welded components, high fracture toughness is also required.

(3) Good welding performance and cold forming performance.

(4) Low cold and brittle transition temperature.

(5) Good corrosion resistance.

3. Ingredient characteristics

(1) Low carbon: due to the high requirements of toughness, weldability and cold forming performance, its carbon content does not exceed 0.20%.

(2) Add alloy elements based on manganese.

(3) Adding niobium, titanium or vanadium and other auxiliary elements: a small amount of niobium, titanium or vanadium in the steel to form a fine carbide or carbon nitride, is conducive to obtaining fine ferritic grains and improve the strength and toughness of steel. In addition, adding a small amount of copper (≤0.4%) and phosphorus (about 0.1%) can improve the corrosion resistance. Adding a small amount of rare earth elements can desulfurization and degassing, purify steel, improve toughness and process performance, and have a durable life of more than 5-8 years.

Product Parameters

First, raw material preparation

The first step in steel plate manufacturing is to prepare the raw materials, which are usually billets provided by the steel manufacturer. Before processing, the billet needs to be pre-treated such as surface cleaning and specification cutting to ensure that the quality and size meet the requirements.
 

Second, hot rolling process

Hot rolling process is the process of heating the billet to a high temperature state and then pressing it into a sheet. The process is divided into several links: heating, rolling, cooling, slitting, edging, packaging. The most critical of these is the rolling process, which deforms the steel billet to form a sheet through continuous rolling.
 

Three, cold rolling process

The cold rolling process is carried out after cooling the mother plate completed by hot rolling, and the main purpose is to further improve the surface finish and flatness of the steel plate. The process usually includes preparation work, sizing, too slow and too warm zone, too fast and too cold zone, buffer zone, scuttling, plate, edge, packaging and other links, each of which must control the temperature, pressure, speed and other parameters to ensure that the quality meets the requirements.
 

Four, pickling process

The pickling process is to soak the steel plate in an acid bath to remove impurities such as oxide and rust on the surface of the steel plate. Pickling process is one of the essential processes in the production of cold rolled steel sheet and hot rolled steel sheet.
 

Five, spraying process

The spraying process is the process of coating the surface of the steel plate with specific anti-corrosion, anti-rust, noise reduction, and changing the surface color of the steel plate. The selection and operation of the process need to be strictly selected and operated according to chemical properties, thickness, toughness, adhesion and other characteristics.
